Congolese artist Noémi Jazzmine will be taking the stage at Hyde Park Book CLub on June 29th, showcasing her genre-blending songwriting that fuses Rumba, Seben, R&B, and Gospel music – all while interchanging languages of English, Lingala, and French. Although she’s only been part of the Leeds music scene for the past six months being based in Nottingham, she’s already performed at venues Vinyl Whistle, UTM Studio, The Domino Club and even gracing the stage at Leeds Jazz Festival on May 24th as part of DJ Lubi Jovanovic's Takeover at the Welcome To Leeds stage.
Featuring Noémi on stage is SIL-VAH, an Angolan-Portuguese Afrobeat artist based in Leeds. His sound fuses rich African rhythms with modern production, capturing real-life emotions and experiences through blending smooth melodies with powerful storytelling. He has opened for acts like 'Stefflon Don' and 'Sai So' along with his music regularly featured on BBC Radio. He is also an Afrobeat/Afrohouse dancer, having caught the attention of UK Afroswing group NSG, Mr Eazi, imjustbait, Rising Talents, and many other influencers
