Sharkey's Kitchen is a monthly live jazz/improvisation/electronics cook-up hosted by local guitarist Chris Sharkey.

Each month Chris and a specially-selected group of musicians from Leeds' thriving creative music scene will prepare and serve up a specially curated, mouth-watering menu of new music in the Hyde Park Book Club Snug.

This month Sharkey is joined by Amelie Norman (drums) and Ernie Moore (flute / trumpet). You've seen them before in the blistering local bands Yoshizawa and Nova Sol.

Over the course of the evening the trio will spontaneously dissect, rework and remix music from Chris' 2021 solo album, 'Presets'. This music has never been performed live and we should be in for a special night of ambient textures, layered noise, twitchy beats and plaintive harmony.
